DESCRIPTION
Ralfinamide mesylate is a mixed sodium and N-type calcium channel protein inhibitor. Ralfinamide is two fold selective for tetrodotoxin (TTX)-resistant sodium channels compared with TTX-sensitive currents. It displays analgesic effects in animal models of inflammatory and neuropathic pain.
