Description
(extracted from source data)
DESCRIPTION
Phenylarsine oxide (PAO), an inhibitor of endocytosis, inhibits PTP¦Å with an IC50 of 18 ¦ÌM. Phenylarsine oxide (PAO) inhibits oxygen consumption and decreases cellular ATP content overlap with those used to inhibit protein internalization[1][2].
DESCRIPTION
PAO inhibits type III PI 4-kinases, whereas it is relatively ineffective against the type II in in vitro kinase assays. Among the type III enzymes, PI4KIIIα is significantly more sensitive to PAO than the type IIIβ form .
