Myricitrin, a naturally occurring flavonoid, is an orally active nitric oxide (NO) and PKC inhibitor. Myricitrin has central nervous system activity, including anxiolytic-like action. Myricitrin possesses antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antifibrotic and anti-malarial effects[1][2][3][4][5].
