Ganetespib (STA-9090) is a small molecule pan-HSP90 inhibtor . It has pro-apoptotic and anti-proliferative actions in a range of cancer cell types . Ganetespib has been proposed as a senolytic compound that is able to promote cell death in AR-induced senescent prostate cancer cells .
