Description
(extracted from source data)
DESCRIPTION
BAY 11-7082 has long been reported as a NF-κB inhibitor, which inhibits TNFα-induced IκBα phosphorylation (IC50 10μM) . However, an alternative report suggests that BAY 11-7082 reduces the activation of IκB kinases by targeting components of the ubiquitin system, and that this is responsible for its anti-inflammatory effects and induction of B-cell lymphoma and leukaemic T-cell death
(GtoPdb)
DESCRIPTION
BAY 11-7082 is an I¦ÊB¦Á phosphorylation and NF-¦ÊB inhibitor. BAY 11-7082 selectively and irreversibly inhibits the TNF-¦Á-induced phosphorylation of I¦ÊB-¦Á, and decreases NF-¦ÊB and expression of adhesion molecules. BAY 11-7082 inhibits ubiquitin-specific protease USP7 and USP21 (IC50=0.19, 0.96 ¦ÌM, respectively). BAY 11-7082 inhibits gasdermin D (GSDMD) pore formation in liposomes and inflammasome-mediated pyroptosis and IL-1¦Â secretion in human and mouse cells[1][2][3][4][5].

DESCRIPTION
BAY 11-7082 (BAY 11-7821) is an NF-??B inhibitor that suppresses TNF??-induced I??B?? phosphorylation (IC50=10 ??M) and also inhibits the ubiquitin-specific proteases USP7 and USP21 (IC50=0.19/0.96 ??M).
DESCRIPTION
Inhibitor of cytokine-induced IKB-alpha phosphorylation
(LOPAC library)
DESCRIPTION
Irreversible inhibitor of TNF-α-induced IκBα phosphorylation
(Tocriscreen Total)
DESCRIPTION
BAY 11-7082 completely and specifically abrogates NF-κB DNA binding, downregulating the NF-κB-inducible cytokine IL-6 and inducing apoptosis.
