Description
(extracted from source data)
DESCRIPTION Phloracetophenone (2,4,6-trihydroxyacetophenone) is the aglycone part of acetophenone glycoside obtained from Curcuma comosa Roxb, with cholesterol-lowering activity. Phloracetophenone enhances cholesterol 7¦Á-hydroxylase (CYP7A1) activity[1]. Phloracetophenone stimulats bile secretion mediated through Mrp2[2].

DESCRIPTION Phloracetophenone (1-(2,4,6-Trihydroxyphenyl)ethanone) has antiobesity and hypolipidemic effects, may be partly mediated by delaying the intestinal absorption of dietary fat by inhibiting pancreatic lipase activity. (TargetMol Bioactive Compound Library)
DESCRIPTION Phloracetophenone is the aglycone part of acetophenone glycoside obtained from Curcuma comosa Roxb, with cholesterol-lowering activity. It exhibits a broad range of antibiotic activity. Phloracetophenone also inhibits phospholipase A2. (Enamine Bioactive Compounds)
